So, my wife likes to watch Prison Break. Up to this season I have always held that Prison Break is a reasonably horrible TV series, but the new season crosses the line of reasonableness. The plot, the acting, the music, everything about that show is nauseatingly stupid. To her credit my wife did agree with me that the current season was crap. Hopefully she lets me remove it from the DVR’s scheduled recordings.

I am going on vacation today. I did not know where I was going till today. The plan is to go to Rochester, Toronto, Rochester, Killington and then home, in that order. It should be fun, or so I hope.
Tried to watch Eureka on the Scifi website, firefox crashed half way through - I don’t have the patience to try again. Stupid firefox!

So I finally watched the Olympics opening ceremony. It was pretty cool, and very artistic. The guy running around the stadium top with the torch was very impressive. I already know that London’s gonna suck compared to this. After all they don’t have the culture and history that China has. I also don’t think that they have the discipline and organizational ability to pull off something like this. They’ll probably end up having the not so cute girl singing at the ceremony.

Had a nice weekend. Chacha Jameel and family were over on Saturday along with Sajid and his family. We had a good time, lots of people, lots of food, good times. I need to get back in shape for the July fourth week, I don’t want to look to flabby in my swimming trunks
Watched the UFC show, there were a number of good fights. I was a little disappointed that BJ Penn won his bout, I really don’t like the guy, but one has to give him credit - he’s a hell of a fighter.
Relaxed on Sunday, read a little, watched TV, played with the kids. B/w John from Cincinati is such a Deadwood clone. All the characters are recycled and somewhat irritating at this point. I might stop watching that show…
Played a little keyboard after watching TV. Time to sleep.

This morning I took the bus as always. Nearly ended up in a fight with a**hole on the bus. Not sure why it’s so hard for people to raise their kids right. Anyway. the encounter made me laugh since I was dealing with such an immature punk, but it also left me with a feeling of a lost opportunity… I should have taken the time to beat this guy up. But I was late, and I did have to get to work… and I really don’t want to end up with any kind of police record.
Went to the gym, didn’t have much of a workout, but it was something. Came home, did some pushups, watched the UFC reality show, went to sleep.
This weekend is going to be busy, should be fun though.

Worked late today. Had a Thai food dinner with Devin at the usual Bangkok Cafe. It looks like management has changed yet one more time. The service had gotten horrible (it took them so long to get the check that I had to leave Devin to foot the bill and run to a waiting car) but the food was quite tasty. Finally got home pretty late. The kids were asleep, and Amma had not eaten yet, apparently waiting for me. So. I had another dinner, albeit a delicious one.
I really need to start working out again and eating well. I’m going downhill again…
Watched the Daily Show before I went to sleep, it was not the greatest. The interesting clip they had Bush referring to the US government as “his” and how congress’s votes would not have any affect on it. Good job electing him America!

Yes, my damn shoulder has started hurting again, and my throat is still hurting too. What a life! Back on painkillers for me to hopefully fix my shoulder issues. I did workout though, just did lower body. It was a good workout, my legs are totally tired. Watched half of an original HBO movie “Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee.” It was a little moving, but really slow. It starts with Custer’s last stand and focuses on Sitting Bull and a native child that survived and grew up with Western education. The acting is not the best and pace is sluggish.
Amma/Abba should be coming next week. Abba sent me an email today to correct the date he gave me earlier, but Thanks to Chacha Jameel I had already adjusted for that.
I hope my shoulder feel better on the weekend so that I can workout. Chest is next!!

The weekend was hot, but who cares as long as I get to hangout at home. I vegetated on Saturday, went to the the library and park with Tahnoon, got a haircut and slept. Went to visit family on Sunday, did not sleep much, had fun talking about everything from movies to politics. The kids had fun too playing with their friends.
I watched “On the Lot” on FOX. It’s interesting how the directors made their choices. Clearly some are really not very good. It really does make me want to finish that damn screenplay of mine… I just don’t have the time. I wish they had better judges though, Carrie Fisher is a lot like Paula on American Idol, though a lot more lucid and sensible.
Looking forward to the last two episodes of the Sopranos.

I ate ice cream, and I ate a brownie like thing, and I did not work out. I feel like crap. I should have at least worked out. Now I feel like a fat slob, I need to keep up the good eating and exercising!!!
I watched the Ultimate Fighter. I guy got hit on the back of the head but still went on, and lost. Felt sorry for him…
The weekend is upon us, and I have no plans. I guess I will just hang out with the kids and got the park etc. It’s going to be really hot though, so it won’t be too much fun. The temperatures up north are going to be better though. I might try Bear mountain, but it us usually overcrowded with a not to sophisticated crowd.

So my left AC joint has been hurting again. Though it seems like taking Aleve once fixes the problem. I wonder if I should just try ice next time… I do feel stronger though, which is great. I should start focusing on cardio now, as well as abs and lower back.
I spent a little time with Tahnoon yesterday, since he was barely awake when I got home. I miss spending time with him. Shahaan was up as well - but as always he’d rather stick with him mom.
I did not get a chance to watch The Last Sin Eater but wasted time watching American Idol. Later I watched the Lost season finale, which I liked. That show has really picked up again, the last three episodes were very enjoyable.
